2012 Meeting Dates: February 20, March 19, April 16, May 21st. No meetings in June or July.Friends of the Library meet the 3rd Monday of each month August through May (no meeting in December). If you are new to the community, or just interested in supporting your local library, please come to one of the monthly meetings and see what the Friends do!
Annual Friend's Raffle, Don't Miss Your Chance to Win! Drawing Thursday, March 1.
The Friends of the Library Basket Raffle was such a success last year, we are offering prize baskets again this year! When you purchase a raffle ticket, you choose the prize you wish to win. Tickets will be available at the February 5 Book & Bake Sale at the Firemen's Pancake & Sausage Breakfast and throught the month of February at the Library. Ticket prices are $1 each or 6 for $5. You need not be present at the drawing on Thursday, March 1, to win. You could be the winner of one of the following 4 prize baskets:
- Date Night Basket includes $50 dollar gift card that can be used at Red Lobster or Olive Garden, Casey's gift certificate for flowers, theater tickets, Chocolatier candies & a bottle of wine from White Oak Vineyards.
- Family Fun Basket includes certificates from Rosati's Pizza, IHOP, Mustang Sally's bowling & pizza, DVD - Dolphin Tale, Electric Scrabble game, Mickey & Minnie craft figurines, family photo frame, brownie mix, and popcorn.
- Quilt Basket has a full size quilt made and donated by Linda Spencer, the book, "Lost Quilter" by Jennifer CHiaverini, and a quilt puzzle.
- Chocolate Basket contains a gift card for Main Street Mercantile fudge, chocolate sented candle, fudge & caramel sauces, the Best Chocolate Recipes, chocolate flavored coffee, cocoa, & lots of chocolate candies!
